Good story. I had to fight against a Michael too, right on into labour. We didn't know what we were having. Luckily it was a girl.

But I am interested that you could change the name after you had the birth certificate. I will have to tell the story about trying to do that in England 28 years ago.


Funny you had a similar battle over the name Michael. It's not that I didn't like the name ; it was just the #1 boys name at the time. And I think the birth certificate was temporary until it's officially processed. At least I hope so, otherwise I have a son named Michael.
